| The Magnum series supplies
an opticouplerpulse output. It can be connected in either of these two ways:
Method A: A dry contact for mechanical external totalizer.
The DC relay is energized by an external DC power source. The contact ofthe
relay is connected to the input of the external totalizer
Method B: Connection to electronic external totalizer. The
pulse output of the Magnum or magnum IC can be directly connected to theinput
of the external totalizer. If necessary a resistor may be connectedto tie
the positive side of the external totalizer to the DC voltage supplyof the
external totalizer.
