A Tradition of Reliability

For more then twenty years we have been developing and refining the technology of the insertion magnetic flowmeters. The ultimate product is a reliable, accurate, high-quality flowmeter for conductive liquids that can be installed in any pipe, regardless of size or material. In the past many different sizes of flowmeters, especially in the case of larger pipe sizes, represented a considerable expense to purchase, to keep in stock and to install. With our insertion flowmeter however one size truly fits all. Although our flowmeters are covered by a 5 year limited warranty in the past there has been very little cause for our customers to make use of it. A considerable number of instruments we have produced have been in sucessful service for well over a decade.

Universal Appeal

Magnum flowmeters are being used in the widest possible range of applications and locations worldwide, like this installation at a Chilean gold mine on the right. Although water is still by far the most common medium to be measured with this instrument there are also numerous installations in effluent, sludge, mining slurry, pulp stock, black liquor; even food-stuffs and chemical solutions. The unique universal mounting system of the Magnum Standard and IC models not only allows installation and removal of the sensor at full line pressure, it also makes it possible to move a single instrument between a number of different applications. With a few mouse clicks in the Magio III interface software a 16" water flowmeter can become a 24" effluent flowmeter. Installation of this sensor style magmeter is a breeze compared to that of traditional in-line magmeters and the Magnum flowmeter can be set up and running in a matter of minutes. This is accomplished without compromising accuracy or reliability.
