| The overall turbulence and uniformity
of flow determines how far away from an obstacle the Magnum can be installed.
A good indicator of this is the Reynolds number. The higher the number
the less distance required - or in other words the faster the flow and
the bigger the pipe the less distance is required.
To calculate the Reynolds number and velocity for your pipe we have
a handy shareware called "Pressure Drop" in the software library section.
